WELCOME BACK! - January 18, 2010
WELCOME BACK!

So to start the spring of 2010 season right, lets go riding.

Here are the practice times again for those still figuring out
their schedules/have yet to do so. We will start the Thursday after
break.

Mondays and Fridays 7-9
Advanced Groups will do montros at least 7-10 Saturdays if not racing
Afternoon rides 4:30-5:30 Tuesday Thursdays

For the afternoon rides please make sure you at least have a rear
light.

The first race of the season is coming up! Boulevard Road Race and the
Red Trolley Criterium. Please check out www.socalcycling.com and click
on road on the left hand side to see the calender. Click on the
boulevard flier. If you are interested in doing this race let me know
so we can work on funding/logistics.

If you are interested in racing please buy your license at:

www.usacycling.org

You can't race without it.

Under club/team, please make sure you put Claremont Colleges Consortium.

HOLIDAY TODOS! - December 27, 2009
I hope everyone is having a great break.

I WILL BE ORDERING JERSEYS!!

Since we are using the same company (and I was not on the ball) please
tell me what size you had for last years kit. If you did not use last
years kit or were not here, the size is pretty spot on with most other
clothing companies. I attached links to the jerseys, shorts, vests and
arm warmers. Please consult these for sizing. Do not be alarmed by the
prices we 1) get a discount and 2) will have Coates and our other
sponsors help to subsidize the cost a bit.

clothing you would like. Jerseys and Shorts are required in order to
race. $700 will be subsidized off the total order.

Just for pricing reference without the subsidizing:
Jerseys: $50
Bib-Shorts: $60
Wind-vests: $57
Arm-Warmers: $20

Total Cost of one of every item: $187

Please have these to me by Jan 1.

I will send out emails leading up to make sure you have gotten back to
me.

End of Semester - December 9, 2008
As the semester draws to a close, I want to remind everyone to sleep and ride lots over break. Racing season starts a few weeks after we get back, hopefully everyone is as eager for that as I am. First Ride of the Year - September 20, 2008
We had our first ride of the year today. It was a blast! Really great turnout with over 20 people, a new record for us. I hope everyone had a good time, and I look forward to riding more this semester.

Introductory Ride on Saturday (9/20) - September 16, 2008
Yay, it's the official start of the cycling club for this year. We are having an introductory ride this Saturday (9/20), I hope everyone can attend. Meet outside Huntley Bookstore (at the corner of Dartmouth and Eighth) at 10am for an easy 15 mile introductory ride around Bonelli. All you need is a bike, some water, and a helmet.

Welcome Back! - September 14, 2008
Welcome back to another year of the cycling team (oh, and school). We have many returning members and hopefully a bunch of new ones. It is going to be a great year. We'll be having an introductory ride on Sat (9/13) and a meeting the following day. Details will be forthcoming. In the mean time, to tide you over, here's a picture I took at the prologue of this past spring's Tour of California.

Claremont Colleges Cycling won the Division II team omnium! - May 3, 2007
Great work everyone! Also, Erika won the Division II women's A omnium. Congratulations! Here's a (blurry) picture of our trophy for the overall.

Elliot wins Men B at Red Trolley Crit! - Febuary 2, 2007
In an amazing feat of strength Elliot Dumont gets Claremont Colleges a win with his multiple lap solo breakaway at the Red Trolley Crit in San Diego.
